Home Screen

The home screen has several tabs for quickly accessing various features.

The Print Stamps feature allows quickly printing one or more US postage stamps for the same type and weight of First Class Mail. It's useful when a customer has several pre-addressed envelopes with identical contents.

You must have a stamp printer configured to use this feature. It does not work with the 4x6 shipping label printer.

To use the Print Stamps feature, select the type of mail, and enter the quantity and weight. If printing international postage, select "International" and choose the destination country. Postage rates may vary based on country.

Postage Prices

You can view current USPS retail prices here for First Class Mail, Flat Rate shipping, and common extra services and fees. Your store's markup is also shown when it differs from USPS retail prices.

News and Alerts

Important updates about PostalPoint and shipping carriers are published to this tab. PostalPoint automatically switches to this tab when there's news you haven't seen yet. Clicking a news item marks it as seen, and if there's more information available besides what's displayed in PostalPoint, opens the news in a web browser.

Setup Checklist

If PostalPoint detects that you haven't finished setting up important features, the Setup Checklist tab will appear. As you follow the checklist instructions, items on the "To-do" list will automatically move to "Finished".

If you are done setting up PostalPoint and don't want to finish one of the steps, at the very bottom of the list is a button you can click to not show the checklist again.

Other Tabs

Plugins can add more tabs for their own features. If there are more tabs than will fit on your screen, arrow buttons will appear on the left and right edge of the tab row to allow scrolling sideways and accessing the other tabs.
