EasyPost Wallet accounts
EasyPost, by default, provides discounted shipping accounts to their customers. However, these accounts don't typically allow reselling or marking up their rates. As a result, and to protect your business, PostalPoint won't normally allow you to see or use these rates. Instead, on the Rates tab, you'll see a warning such as "Hid 2 rates from carrier accounts that don't allow resale."
Enabling wallet accounts in PostalPoint
If you are 100% sure you want to use these rates, such as if you're an office user and not reselling to customers, you can force-enable them. There are two ways to do this.
-
Copy your EasyPost carrier account IDs into the PostalPoint settings. These account IDs start with
ca_followed by a lot of numbers and letters, and can be found in your EasyPost account under Account Settings -> Carriers. Copy them into Carrier Account IDs on the Shipping tab of PostalPoint's settings screen. -
Alternatively, you can enable EasyPost wallet accounts in PostalPoint by going to System Menu > Settings and Configuration > Advanced > Manual Configuration, entering the key value
easypost_allow_wallet_billingand the value1and clicking "Set".
